Back in 2013, the HBSC team trusted us with the creation of Walia, a new beer brand, aimed at the young Ethiopian consumer. After introduction, Walia was well received, quickly conquering a large share of the market.
But that was then, and in the years to follow, Walia was experiencing more and more pressure of newcomers on the Ethiopian beer market. To face this competition, it needed to be rejuvenated, to grow bigger than itself, to become a movement. One that would strengthen it’s position by moving onward and upward.
We are very proud the Walia team came to us with this challenge, so we were able to take what we’ve started back in 2013 and make it even better .
